home sweet home

mike and i have finally moved into our new home in ara damansara. we moved in just before cny, so it's coming to 2 months in our new home now. still have not had a house-warming party yet, but will have a few mini ones in the upcoming weekends with family and friends.

we've been busy retrofitting it with decoration. our latest splurge was on water features for the living room and the garden -- you know, good feng shui in the eight mountain star sector. :) mom has been very helpful and hardworking with our garden, we actually have a pretty good landscape if i may say so myself, thanks to mom!

dad's going to help with the aluminum grille door in the next two weeks. other than that, we still have to work on putting up our paintings on the wall.

guess who i found? or rather who found me ... sih kai sheong!!! called me all the way from singapore. i can hardly wait to meet up with him again! :)

holly's back!

holly's been back in town for a couple of weeks and it's been great catching up with her again. shopping was first priority on the list, she helped me pick out some outfits for CNY. sigh ... it seems i can only shop with my beloved aunties around! last time i splurged like this was when angeline was back in town. other times i'm just too lazy to go shopping. contrary to popular belief, having too many choices is sometimes not as great as one thinks.

met up with the old college gang one night for dinner at pelita nasi kandar. diana, ken, jason tan (wee peng) and chong soon showed up! (holly, can you send me the pics so i can post?) we missed ricky, brian hew, chee tat and caryl who couldn't make it that night. lots of updates from everyone, especially our auntie diana who is embarking on a new adventure in her life. i'm really excited for her and wish her all the best!

and angeline's got brand new news as well! i'm really so excited, but haven't been able to contact her yet. A- I WANT SOME UPDATES PLEASE!!!

meanwhile, mike and i have moved into our new house. not as easy as moving in the US, i have to say. we're enjoying the additional space but the transition from living with my family to just the two of us is really making me feel a little lonely at our new home. (gotta have more parties! just as soon as we're done unpacking and sorting out the mess!)
